the manager then told us you need to turn on the hot water switch upstairs for an hour before showering to get hot water, as there had been so much rain, there was no hot water. Also, the airconditioner in the master bedroom didn't work, and we had no hot water on the first day. I didn't stress at the time as we were on holiday, but the day after we left, 2 of my children broke out with impetigo, 1 with hand foot and mouth disease and 1 with tinea! I just couldn't believe it, and I'm a nurse so very particular about hygiene. I understand how hard it must be in that climate with the mould etc, but there are cleaning products available to combat that.

The upstairs bathroom flooded every day with all the rain, as it the windows leaked, so all the towels were constantly soaked, and they don't give you extra towels for the pool so the towels get a little tired after a few days and just smelt. Also, I have to agree with the previous post about the cleaning, it just never felt very clean, with mould in the bathrooms. The manager Ashna was very helpful and said she would ask all the staff, but we were just so Disappointed that this could happen in such a quite location where we were very trusting. Then, a few days later, a gold & diamond necklace disappeared from the master bedroom. What we were disappointed about, was that the keys to our villa, which we left on the bench in the kitchen, disappeared on the 2nd day we were there.

Unfortunately the wind blew the satellite off the roof so there was no sky tv for the rest of our stay. We were very unlucky with the weather, constant torrential rain and gale force winds which made our stay difficult with 4 children, as even getting out the door in that weather was crazy. The villa was plenty big enough, and the owner Mr Reddy accommodated my requests to get a cot and high chair which we really appreciated. As we have 4children, they couldn't accommodate us at Wananavu. We recently stayed at dreamview for a week to celebrate our friends' wedding which was held at Wananavu. If the standards of cleaning and repair were a little bit higher, this would be a 5 start resort, with no dispute.… The hill, up to the resort, as some have stated, is a sight to behold, and very rocky. However the Fijian people are very helpful with their directions, so we found it. The food at wannanavu was a little bit more upscale. The voli voli had a nice pool, but the beach was really non-existant, and smelled of sewage. We weren't allowed to use the pool at wannanavu, but the beach was kind of cool with lots of little crabs running around. We did go to both the voli voli and wannanavu resorts. The pictures, themselves simply do not do justice to the actual sights. The sunsets are wonderful, as are the sunrises. The views are phenomenal, and having a nice infinity pool is a major plus. The owner actually re-funded the money, which we didn't ask for, but very much appreciated. We ended up staying for only 3 nights due to a change in plans.
